During the meeting of the Committee it was declared that the elaboration of the bill (Reg.№4344) is caused by the necessity to implement the international commitments of Ukraine regarding the rational use of the water living resources, responsible fishing in natural ecological systems and implementation of the state supervision for the economic agents that that conduct fishing in the waters beyond the domestic jurisdiction of Ukraine.
The Bill envisages the implementation of the compulsory licensing of the activity that concerns fishing in the waters beyond the domestic jurisdiction of Ukraine.
During the discussion the Members of the Committee expressed for the necessity of the Bill addition with the principles on amendments introduction, in particular to the Law "On Fish, other Water Living Resources and Food Production".
